Right next to the Pearl River, this Sleeping Wood is a tad more easy to find than it's namesake off Huanshi Dong Lu. Yet the core style here is consistent: outdoor tables with green plants and a lazy atmosphere, but it's the views from both inside and outside that really make this bar. On one end of the bar there is a stage laden with drums and a piano, and from the Ming Dynasty era wooden chairs you can relax to regular live band performances - time will just fly. A projector shows the live performances to people across the whole bar. If it's a private feel you're after, then the distinctive VIP rooms with bed-like sofas, redwood chairs and small tea tables will be right up your street.
