It’s slickly designed, with chrome finishes and cavernous private seating areas upstairs, including a gallery with bird’s eye views of proceedings before swooping into the melee. But drinks are somewhat overpriced with bottled beers RMB45 and upwards. Typically overstaffed, the place suffers from officious inefficiency. The simple task of getting a beer is as difficult as retrieving a cactus from the backside of an angry bear, with individual staff treating you with their specific jobs: beer mat provider, order taker and bottle opener… and still failing. That aside, the crowd is relaxed and fun-loving, while an excellent sound system and DJ setup pumps out inoffensive electro and euphoric house. Dancing girls are eclipsed by the more entertaining impromptu amateur dance offs–a good laugh!

Price: Beers from RMB45.
